Commonly used lead wire methods for solenoid valves

2022-12-03
As we all know, in the process of selecting a solenoid valve, there is a step of selecting electrical specifications, which includes the voltage, current and lead wire method of the solenoid coil, etc. When choosing the lead-out method, the requirements are convenience and reliability. Convenience means that the solenoid valve can be installed and replaced quickly, and reliability means that the joints cannot have poor insulation or electrical failure. The following is a brief summary of the lead-out methods of the solenoid valve.
Different solenoid valves lead in different ways. Usually, small solenoid valves use straight line outlets, L and M sockets, and large solenoid valves use straight line outlets and DTN sockets.

Straight-line outlet type: lead the wire directly from the electromagnetic coil of the solenoid valve, and connect with the external terminal. The length of the wire is available in 300 mm and 600 mm.
L and M socket type: The main difference is that the direction of the plug is different. Clamp the plug and the plug body with your fingers, insert it straight into the pin, and lock the claw into the groove of the cover. Available in custom lengths and without wires or plugs.

DIN socket: This is a wire terminal designed in accordance with the German DIN standard and installed inside the solenoid valve.
